J L Drama Academy is an inclusive hub of creativity and expression for students aged 4 and above. Our academy is dedicated to nurturing talents, skills, and aspirations in all aspects of drama, including stagecraft, lighting, sound, costumes and much more whether this is a path to a career or a hobby. We believe in giving every child the chance to shine, grow in confidence, and discover their passion in a supportive and inspiring environment. With hands-on experience, expert guidance, and plenty of opportunities to perform, students gain real insight into the world of theatre and entertainment, all while having fun and making lasting friendships.

Meet Your Teacher, Lauren
Hi, I’m Lauren and I’m the drama teacher here at JL Drama Academy. I’ve been teaching both dance and drama for over 20 years, and my passion lies in helping children explore the magic of the stage. Whether it’s learning how to project their voice, understand stage direction, or bring a character to life, I believe every day is a chance to grow and discover something new. I love showing young performers how to feel confident and expressive on stage, and I’m proud to share my industry knowledge with them. Over the years, I’ve built strong connections with cruise ship entertainers and other professionals in the dance and drama world, which means I’m able to open doors to real-world opportunities and experiences that truly inspire the next generation.
